Vintage Tortoise Shell Design Sideboard / Dressing Table

This piece is incredibly chic! Created by charring the surface of the wood to achieve a wonderful vintage tortoise shell inspired design. (Please excuse arm reflection on one top surface photo!)
The top surface and fronts of the drawers have a lovely grain and luminosity especially when catching the light.
The drawers are lined with a vibrant red velvet, and the dovetailing to the sides of the drawers have a touch of gold leaf to tie in with the original hardware.
The slender, softly tapered legs have the same tortoise shell effect to each knee and foot, as well as a touch of gold to the joints to tie in with the gold around the top surface edge.
This piece was originally in rather a heavily used and uncared for state when I acquired it, so I used it to regularly practise various technique on and was never intended for sale. However, after I’d experimented on one side, it looked great! In fact, I liked it so much that I decided to continue and refinish the whole piece!
Like with all my pieces, I try to remain sympathetic to the original style / craftsmanship, as well as often keeping in age related marks of use, incorporating or blending them into my design.
So there we have it, a beautiful, classy item, waiting for its forever home :-).

*Care note*: this piece will just need a dry dust as and when. Any cleaning chemicals may dull / damage the finish to this piece. As with all furniture, I always advise placing something protective under any object to be place on top.

I see the beauty and history in these, so will either leave them in, or work with them to add to the overall aesthetic of particular pieces*

I always use reputable and experienced delivery companies, with appropriately equipped transportation for my furniture pieces.
Local delivery is free for orders over £500 to addresses within 20 miles of Annie Eclectic Studio.

Returns

I accept returns within a 14 day period, for a full refund. Please be aware, incurred delivery costs including return delivery, will not be refunded.
Should an item be returned, the original courier company must be used, and the item must be delivered in its original packaging. The item will then be inspected upon its return for any damage before a refund can be issued.
In the unlikely and unfortunate event your item arrives damaged, please contact me within 24 hours of delivery. I advise, where possible, to inspect the item upon arrival, whilst the courier is still present.
My items are packaged extremely sufficiently. The whole piece (including underneath) is protected using layers of bubble wrap, packing paper and cardboard, secured firmly with packing tape.
As a further precaution, I take photos of my items before, during and after packaging, as proof of condition before they’re collected for delivery.
